Hello Vwjay,

I don%26#39;t know if you%26#39;ve been to Phuket yet.

Here%26#39;s some information regarding mobile phone sim cards.

I use a Samsung D-500 Tri Band Mobile. When i get to Phuket I go to the Big C shopping centre, head for the basement and in the far corner you will see a DTac phone centre.

Ask them to set up your mobile with a DTac sim card and whilst your there put a 1000Baht on the card.

Once your phone is set up your all set to phone home.

I used to phone home around 2 am (5pm back home in the UK).

I%26#39;d stay on line for approx 1/2 hour and only use approx. 70 Baht.

Just remember a couple of important things.

1/ DO NOT use UK international dialing codes 0044.

***You use 00 8 44 and then your number - This way you use the Thai network,at there rates.

2/ try and keep to phoning landlines only - Your money will go alot further.

If you need to top up the card go to any 7/11 shop. There like our Spar shops and ask for a DTac top up card.

Hope this information helps.

Doyley.
