Sorry, I can%26#39;t recommend any particular hotel but try to stay some where close to BTS (sky train) station. Three main areas would be Siam Square, Silom and Sukhumwit.

thanks ismisiam will have a look at hotels is these areas

Most hotels are central enough. Just be near an MRT (underground) or BTS (Skytrain) station.

Otherwise you really need to look at a map and decide what YOU want to be near.

had a look at some of the hotels on the tripadvisors landmark, sofitel silom, jw marriott are these the areas, these hotels are in for a central area

The Landmark and JW Marroitt are just down the street from each other and the BTS is directly in front of both. Also the MRT has a station at Asok Rd - very near the Landmark.

hi george1

been to thailand a number of times,we tend to stay around the silom area.some great hotels in the area, good for patpong nightlife and market.%26#39;not as bad as people make out%26#39;.

also very handy for the skytrain, mbk only five minutes away in taxi.

we tend to book our hotels off the asiarooms web site, reveiws all the hotels in the area and gives you pictures aswell.we have stayed in the dusit, sofitel silom %26amp; unico grand in the silom area and enjoyed them all.

we are going back in september going to hua hin for 8 nights, then back to bangkok for a further 3 nights staying at the siam heratige just off patpong.

when we were there in may we stayed at the zenith sukhumit,we thought the hotel was great but we wasn%26#39;t very impressed with the area.

Landmark gets my pick too!
