Good Day,

We are planning our route from Phuket airport to Railay Beach this coming sunday. Any suggestion pls ?

Thanks !

From Phut airport to Railay beach

Hi

that is quite a ways

best to hire car or mini van to drive you to Ao Nang then you have to take long tail boat to Railay Beach. about 10 to 15 mins no roads to Railay beach

there is a morning ferry that leaves from Old Phuket town

from the airport you would have to drive back across the island to catch ferry.

are you going for just a day trip or are you staying there

either way should take between 3 to 4 hrs.

From Phut airport to Railay beach

Taxi will cost between 2,000 and 2,500 Baht.. Takes about 2 to 2.5 hours to Ao Nang.. then longtail to Railay.. cheap and quick.

Hihi,

Thanks for the info :)

We will stay at Railay Resort , altogether 4 of us , the only concern is we have a pregant lady travel with us...

our initial plan is book a car (cost about 3100 baht) from Phuket to Aunang take abt 2.5hrs - boat ride to Railay beach abt 20min

but right now they suggest us we dun use car, take a mini van, hes offering 3600 baht...im still checking the market price :)

I would definitely ring the resort %26amp; ask them to help you out. We stayed there last week %26amp; they went out of their way to help with everything. We got a transfer from Krabi airport to the resort. You can get dropped in at East Railay %26amp; the resort have a tractor that comes out to the water to pick you up. Much better option for your pregnant friend rather than trying to get out on the beach.

With 4 people and luggage a van would be better.. And the price sounds fair enough to me. A toyota camry would hold you if you don%26#39;t have too much luggage.. and probably cost about the 2500 mark.

Hi mosegrisen. Only problem is you still need to get a boat the Railay somehow... That%26#39;s the bit that Railay Bay resort could help with.

Actually.. that%26#39;s the easy part... Boats are cheap... a couple of hundred Baht... and it only takes 10 minutes or so.
