Hi

We are soon travelling to Phuket %26amp; Bangkok for 2 weeks. We have been to BKK before and know what the shopping is like, what there is to buy etc.

As we haven%26#39;t been to Phuket before, we are hoping for some tips on whether it is better to buy your shopping in Phuket or leave it until you get to Bangkok. Planning on buying the usual stuff - handbags, sunglasses, dvd%26#39;s etc.

Any help much appreciated.

as i%26#39;ve been to both phuket and bangkok last year i missed out on many things i liked in phuket ...which i wish i had bought but thinking i was going to see it in bangkok and wait to get it cheaper i didn%26#39;t. this was mainly with handbags.

my advice is, if you really like something and will pay the price you get it down to then buy it, as you may never see it again. there%26#39;s just as great shopping in phuket as there is in bangkok

Kamo, we found the usual gear, dvd%26#39;s bags, sunnies etc the same price in Phuket, so I would do as izzy says, if you like it (wherever you are) then buy it.
