Beach at the Amari Coral

Hi Folks, does anyone know if it%26#39;s possible to take a stroll along the beach from the Amari or is the only way out via the road? We ask as we like to take a walk along the beach at night and eat at the local beach resturants.

It%26#39;s not really possible to walk along the beach to Patong and the restaurants from the Amari for your evening meal.

At low tide you can do the walk - but even then not without wading through shallow water.

However there are always tuk tuks available at the front of the Amari to take you the short journey by road.

Don%26#39;t let this put you off the Amari, it%26#39;s a terrific hotel.

It%26#39;s a very easy walk down the hill to the beach part of the Patong. Going up will be a bit harder but it%26#39;s not like you%26#39;re climbing a mountain. It%26#39;s easier than the incline on Lombard Street in San Francisco.

The walk is kind of far to the areas on the beach where you can eat so get a tuk tuk to bring you down to main area. Then, you can fan out and figure out where to eat.
