April next year all Booked

Well I know it is early, but we like being organised.

We are staying at Horizon Patong for 2 weeks and can%26#39;t wait for SONGKRAN Day.

So time to add on here when you will be there in April and where are you staying??

And lets get the BBQ happening for Friday the 4th.

Cheers

You are lucky. Ive been talking to travel agents for a while about leaving in April. All i get is that it is to early. I think we are going to be in Thailand for about 3 weeks or so. Our main ideas are to be there for my 40th. And Songkran Day. Also a BBQ or 2.

Hi Janet we had exactly the same story last year at this time when planning our trip for April this year. Even on line some of the hotel prices weren%26#39;t available, hopefully you will get the prices from travel agents by October.

You will have a ball on Songkran day, not sure if I could stand being that wet again, (although it was mainly the ice water that was the killer).

Dwayne you are as bad as me, but I also like to be organised. We have our hotel booked for 3 months (we have extended our time) for June, July %26amp; August and now just need to wait a few more weeks for Singapore airlines prices to take us through to end of August, fares at the moment to end of July 2008 are $1300 return.

If next April is as busy as this years you will eventually have tons of replies to your thread!!

Hi Guys,

Yep, same problem last year. The travel agents don%26#39;t have prices for april 2008 onwards and probably won%26#39;t for another couple of months.

Not so bad for me this year though because i won%26#39;t be going until late May. I enjoyed Songkran Day 2006 but once was enough. I ended up with an ear infection and bad belly. I paid my 20 Baht per water pistol refill (bottled water) but some of the head shots I received were definitely from questionable water supplies.

Some of the locals on Bangla road were trying to sell me a stubbie of beer for 250 Baht which is a fair price hike but you did get free water refills from the melted ice. haha.

Funny thing was that it was the coolest day in the 10 days that I was there. I was wet the whole day, as most people were but I did notice that most people had enough by the early evening and things got pretty quiet or maybe that was just me.?

Anyway, have a great time !!

Regards
