Thank you for posting this topic. If you have a chance, can you let me know how the Khao Lak Seaview Resort is?? I am going in September, and hoping there will be a few local bars and restaurants open nearby (a bit worried that there will be nothing open!!!!)
Have a great trip, any info on Seaview resort and vicinty is greatly appreciated!!)

The Seaview is right on Nang Thong Beach which is a short stroll away from Bang La On, commonly known as Khao Lak Town where there WILL be restaurants, bars and shops open. Not all close and some of the best restaurants e.g. Jai, Sala Thai and Viking (great steaks) remain open.
