Lamai Hotel - Advice pls

I plan to holiday in Phuket with my wife for a few days.We would like to stay at the Lamai Hotel.What is the best way to go the hotel?Can any one pls provide us with an opinion of the hotel.Is the hotel near the entertainment and shopping centres.

there is a lamai hotel , and a lamai inn --one has a lift-- they are near each other and 5 mins walking distance from bangla nightlife and shopping area

be aware , they are used by single guys with their bar -girl-friends, as the hotels allow overnight ';guests'; at no extra charge

Look up the hotel under reviews,

I just did and the Lamai hotel I am thinking of is right behind the Lamai Restaurant on Beach road not far from the Holiday Inn.

( not sure but the restaurant may be Lamai Lamai!! )

We have eaten there many times and had a look at the hotel once and it was quite nice.

They have some good reviews too. Very close to lots of shopping and restaurants and across the road from the beach.
