Has anyone stayed at the World Resort?

Hi there,

We are a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids)and are thinking of staying at the World Resort when we visit Koh Samui in November.

I was just wondering if anyone out there has stayed there and if so what was it like?

Any other suggestions for a family friendly hotel? We would like to stay in the Bophut area.

we have booked the world resort for next march again 2 adults and 2 kids, I feel confident in the choice, i read plenty of trip advisor reports and there own web site,

i have not been there before so can not comment on it what are your reservations?

I don%26#39;t have any particular reservations...just trying to get some more feedback i guess. I too have read the reviews here and they are mostly good.

I probably need to stop procrastinating and just book!!

Hiya-

We stayed there last year and had lots of our wedding party stay there this year.

Its very family friendly, am sure they even have a babysitiing service. Its on a quiet part of fishermans village, you can easily walk to 7/11, resturants, and a few shops. Not really ever bothered by hawkers and my little cousins loved the sand. The pool is also a really nice touch.

The only downside are the rooms that face the road and the cost of the food and drink at the resort. So if you can, def go for one of the bungalows.
