Le Bua at State Tower / meritus Suites - have you stayed ?

Would appreciate any feedback from anyone who has recently stayed at the le Bua at State Tower. We have booked for September for 4 nights as we loved the extra space the suites provided. Any comments on the pool would be appreciated. Also, any local restaurants to eat at, places to shop(particularly looking for kids clothes/shoes etc).

Thanks

Le Bua at State Tower / meritus Suites - have you stayed ?

Hi Dreamhol,

We stayed at the Lebua last November. Was absolutely magnificant. we are booked in to stay this november too!

hotel is truly 5 star quality. we stayed in a superior bedroom suite and it was fairly big. had a little lounge area at the front of the room. bathroom is also very spacious. the pool is quite good, there weren%26#39;t many people around the pool when i stayed here for 4 nights. there is a train station about 5 mins down the rd. places to go shopping for kids clothes etc would be Suan Lum night bizaare at night. Patpong market at night, just be a little more careful here and koh san rd by the day, they have lots of clothes there. MBK is where you will find absolutely everything, i%26#39;m sure this would suit you best for everything and the bonus of air conditioning makes shopping much easier. they are open 10am - 10pm.

best of luck

i just saw this was posted in 2006.. opps

sorry!

Hi

We stayed at Lebua in May and I found the hotel to be very nice. The pool was not amazing in any way but the room was huge and we enjoyed our stay there. We didn%26#39;t spend that much time int he local area...but you can get around town fast by taking the river express boat or by catching the skytrain :-)
