HELP cheap but nice accommodation wanted

We are looking for somewhere really nice to stay but are on a fairly tight budget. probably 3 star. We are use to staying 4 star and i like lots of space (big rooms with balcony, thai style). preferably cheap enough to have two connecting rooms.

Can anyone suggest something please, preferebly close to Patong

Am considering Patong Cottage Resort. Is this as good as itlokks on internet.

Not sure how low your budget is, or the area you prefer, but we loved Baan Karonburi and it was under $100AUD a night! As a bonus, you%26#39;ll get a beach view, balconies and great thai service and food - swim up bar - just fanatastic! We%26#39;re going to stay there again when we go back (and location is the best!!!)

We are staying at SafariBeach Hotel in November which is right on the corner of the beach road and bangla rd in patong so suberb location. 4 star(i think) and very very cheap compared to other hotels around that area.

Check out www.atsiam.com for cheap rates its where we booked from and were cheapest by far.
