Tong Tours - Jerry

We have just finished a 2 day tour that we booked through Tong. At the time we wanted to go, Tong was unavailable so we got one of her team as a guide - Jerry

As we couldnt find any reviews of him on tripadvisor, we decided to write this review.

Our trip was to the floating markets, cobra show, river kwai, elephant tour, death railway etc. This was all spread out over two days with one night in the Royal River Kwai Resort which was very nice.

We found Jerry to be a great guide for those two days. He%26#39;s in his mid thirties. He had good English and was always up for a laugh. We really enjoyed our lunches and dinner with Jerry as he helped us pick authentic and typical Thai dishes (I was brave enough to try the local roasted chilies - very very hot). We also gained a good insight from Jerry into Thai culture and lifestyles. He told us about his family life etc and also helped us a bit with the language. We couldnt have learnt any of this without him.

Anyway, I cant think of any more information to give. If anyone has any questions, let me know.

I would definately have no hesitation in booking him again.

That%26#39;s great to hear. My husband and I have a tour booked with Jerry in April, however, we only have 1 day. Out of the sites you visited, any that were ';can%26#39;t miss';?

Thanks Mullerman, we have Jerry booked for May, he is picking us up from Kan , we are doing the floating markets on our way back to Bangkok. great to hear you had a good time with him.

I only found out about Tong over the last couple of days from this website - so decided to email her last night.

Woke this morning to find out already that she has replied !!! Have been previously workding with the hotel and it takes about 4-5 days to get a response. Even tried to phone them and no one knew who I was after when I asked for the staff member who was emailing me.

Anyone Tong is unavailable but offered Jerry for our day trip to the floating markets, river kwai and tiger temple. It is my 40th that day and want to have it all sorted well before we go... only 6 weeks and counting.

I will email Tong and book Jerry - can%26#39;t wait

Unfortunately I have been remiss in not getting this posted early - but for anyone reading Mullerman%26#39;s topic - we had the best day with Jerry and have already recommended to friends that they they contact Tong and spend the day sight-seeing with Jerry.

They have now only in the last 2 days returned, and like us had a great day. My children loved him and we all cant wait to go back and hopefully be able to catch up again with him soon.

Tong and Jerry - if you read this - thank-you thank-you thank-you - you made our adventures with you that day very special.
