Do we need vacinations

Just booked 10 nights at Evason Hua Hin in September, never been to Thailand before and friends have advised we must have vacinations. Is it essential, has anybody been there without having had jabs?

surprisingly i have already done that, my question was has anybody travelled without and not had any problems

We%26#39;ve been coming here for years without any jabs and have not suffered from anything whatsoever, however if you intend to travel deep into the jungle areas it would be advisable to have taken precautions for malaria plus the hepetitus virus. But if just touring around the normal tourist area%26#39;s then I feel they are not essential but some may say better safe than sorry.

Many thanks for that, we will try to get the relevant jabs but i am not sure that we have enough time for them to take effect before we travel. We dont have any plans to venture off the beaten track, just BKK to Hua Hin and return by road.
