Is Chaing Mai baby stroller friendly?

We are travelling with our infant to CM and want to know if the roads, shopping areas are safe for a baby stroller?

Is Chaing Mai baby stroller friendly?

I don%26#39;t think so it%26#39;s so convenient, and not the safest either. Uneven pavement at best. Also, lots of traffic...cars, tuk tuks, scooters...too easy for the stroller to be hit acidentally I think. A baby carrier or back pack carrier is a much better option I think. Better to keep baby up higher where he/she is easily seen rather than down low in a stroller where not easily seen. The only place i%26#39;d use a stroller is in an indoor mall and the airport.

The pavements are uneven and narrow. Quite often you have to go onto the road to get around something. I wouldn%26#39;t like to be trying to push a stroller along.
