Do we need to worry about anything in the water whilst bathing with the elephants(beasties/diseases etc)?Any advice/reassurance greatly appreciated...!
Elephant Nature Park
We have just visited the park. I took Deet insect repellant and that seemed fine. Also take sandals to wear in the water it is quite fast flowing so consider ones with straps. also if it rains and it did when we were there the park gets very muddy and thongs/flipflops come off. You will have a great time but conditions are quite basic so I took some anti septic gel for handwashing. there are basins but the water can run out. We wore long shorts/swinmming shorts for bathing the elephants. Hope this helps
