Another clothes question

Hi everyone,

2 and 1/2 weeks to we leave, so i am starting to think about what to pack.

The kids have grown out of most of summer clothes but I don%26#39;t want to buy new ones from here if I can get it cheaper in phuket.

Ages girls 10 and 8 and boy 6.

Can anyone advise if i will get shorts,shirts.skirts, bordies and dresses in these children sizes.

Also will i find full brimed floppy hats and also thongs or sandles.

And if anyone has any info on adult clothing, manly surf wear if this is available.

Thanks for your help, I don%26#39;t want to over pack as I always do.

Oh i just thought of another question, what about shampoo,conditioner,mousse etc can i buy popular brands there also.

Hello there , All the items you asked for are available very cheap in kata and karon shops. I find these places are also cheaper than patong. also you can check out the beaches they are amazing.

You should have no problem clothing your children there are some great bargains on shorts, skirts, singlets, t-shirts and dresses. All surf brand labels (Rip Curl, Billabong etc). Smaller sized shoes can be harder to find but they are out there. Adults should pack light. Make sure when buying multiple items you check sizes of all as sometimes they might slip in an incorrect size. Dont bother taking shampoo etc with you there are supermarkets where you can buy these things and then just give them away to hotel staff when you leave. There are variety of brands available.

We are about to return to Phuket in September for our third time, so you can see we really love the place.
