Early November - avoid rain - where to go (Hua Hin or Phuket

Understood that rainy season officially ends by October, but seems that it can take longer in Phuket.

We planned our holiday the first two weeks of November and wonder whether we should be better off in Phuket or Hua Hin, if we want to avoid the rain.

Does anybody have any weather wisdom to share with us, if we either Hua Hin or Phuket will have less chance of the last rain...?

I travelled November last year and i do not think you can nowadays guarantee the weather. I had fantastic weather with only an odd thunderstorm allways in the evening only for about an hour. We went to Pattaya, then to Krabi and then to phuket the weather was the same very hot and sunnty daytime humid at night. We did speak to a couple who had gone november in 2005 who said it rained everyday. So i would go where you fancy going as that time of year if it does rain it should not be for long. I mtyself am coming back to phuket this November it is after all the start of the high season. Enjoy

we were in Hua hin last year mid november and the weather was perfect. would definately go back again at that time.

i was in phuket last November 11th - 19th November 2006. it only rained for a little bit on the first day we got there but then it was beautiful the next 7 days no rain at all.

i am a little worried as well this year, because i%26#39;m going slightly earlier 1st november till the 12th then back to phuket again on the 17th - 24th November. i%26#39;m only worried about the earlier part..fingers crossed it doesn%26#39;t rain! :-)
