getting around

ok, we will be arriving in bangkok in just over 3 week, me and my fiancee want to see as much as thailand as we can and ideally would like to visit phuket-karon or kata beach, krabi, phi phi, ko samui then back to bangkok.

just wondering if anybody knows the best way to visit all these places?

we are going for 3 weeks, do you think we have enough time to see all the places i mention.

any advice on how to get around to as many if not all these places would be much appreciated.

you have plenty of time to ';see'; all those places but do you have enough time to really enjoy seeing those place%26#39;s that is the question.

flying is the best and fastest way to get around and not that expensive from Bangkok.

Phuket and Krabi are relatively close to each other easy by ferry or car. to get from one to the other.

I thinkit is easyer to get to Phi Phi from krabi than phuket.

Ko samuii is the hard one to get to Bangkok Air has monopoly on flights so not too many really cheap flights but still very resonable price%26#39;s compared to western standards

you are going in rainy season so trips to the Islands may be cancelled or very rough on some days.

I would fly to Phuket visit all the areas you want then take car or ferry to Krabi do majority of island tours from here depending on weather

then fly from Krabi to bangkok or Ko samuii if you can find a flight

they are supposed to have direct flights from Krabi to Samuii some day soon don%26#39;t know if flights are available yet may have to go bangkok to get flight to samuii or you can take bus to surat thanni then ferry across.

check out a map of thailand to get an idea of the locations relative to one another.

you are in low season easy to get flights once you are there lots of people fly to Krabi or Phuket but don%26#39;t get return ticket until the day they decide to leave

just thinking would i be better getting a flight from phuket to ko samui instead of going back to bangkok then onto samui... think we will be spending most our time in samui.
