Getting to Phuket from Ko Lanta

Me and my girlfriend are heading to Phuket from Lanta and we%26#39;re curious about our options - I%26#39;ve read that the ferries do not run until November.

Any advice greatly appreciated!

When are you going?

If there are no ferries, you can always take the bus to Krabi and from there to Phuket. Ferries from Krabi to Phi Phi and Phi Phi to Phuket are possible year round also.

Sorry about the vague information - we%26#39;ll be there in the first two weeks of October.

If a direct ferry is not looking likely, might it be better to break the journey from Krabi by having a couple of nights on Phi Phi?

Depends, if you catch the early morning ferry from Krabi you can continue straight away to Phuket. If you don%26#39;t, you have to stay overnight anyway (or take the bus).

Nothing wrong with staying on Phi Phi for a few nights anyway, so why not make the trip relaxed and enjoy everywhere you go?
